Women of Distinction is creating The Haven of Hope Shelter, a safe and supportive place for women and youth affected by abuse; a place where safety, healing, dignity, and new beginnings can take root.
Too many individuals experiencing abuse face the difficult choice between remaining in an unsafe environment and having nowhere safe to go. The Haven of Hope Shelter will provide another option.
Our vision is to secure and establish a dedicated shelter offering safe accommodation, essential resources, supportive programming, and services that help residents regain confidence, build independence, and move toward long-term stability.
Depending on available opportunities and funding, Women of Distinction may lease, acquire, or transform an existing property to establish the shelter.

Our fundraising goal is $2 million toward securing and establishing The Haven of Hope Shelter . The campaign will remain active until the funding required to move the project forward is secured, with opportunities for community members, businesses, foundations, and partners to contribute along the way.
